Created by Monte La Rue who has been called the Lounge King of the Lowlands. This veteran Belgian dj/producer, currently residing in Amsterdam, has been quoted (by Coda & Bravo magazines) as the foremost adversary to the likes of Stéphane Pompougnac (Hotel Costes) and Claude Challe (Buddha Bar). 

La Rue is a remarkable phenomenon. In the mid eighties, he lead the New Wave band ‘Wet’ (being called the Belgian Depeche Mode) and scored a series of hits under various monikers. Now 2004, after a long-standing collaboration with the Cinq Etoiles label and numerous successful European compilations (Lounge Deluxe, Latin Deluxe, etc.), Monte La Rue introduces a new staple brand ‘Deluxe’, which makes it’s first appearance in Canada.
